Farm Animals - Boerderijdieren

Malawi

Why farm animals? With 3 goats, 3 pigs or 10 chicken a family can start to live selfsupporting. Think about selling the offspring, milk, eggs. But also very important is to have feritlizer which is extreemly expenpensive to buy.

Waarom boerderijdieren? Met 3 geiten, 3 varkentjes, of 10 kippen kan een familie beginnen met zelfvoorzienend te leven. Denk aan verkoop van nakomelingen, melk en eieren. Maar ook heel belangrijk is de mest, welke extreem duur is in aanschaf zonder dieren en uitermate belangrijk voor de mais-, katoen- en sojavelden.

Clothing

Malawi

To help this community the best way, we encourage to make own clothes. Therefor we started a tailoring project where a 15 women learn how to make clothes for all in need and to make a living for themselves and family. For that we bought 23sewing machinesth.
15 women signed up for this project. They will will be selfsupporting in the furture.

Om deze commune het beste te helpen, moedigen wij aan onafhankelijk te worden en zelf kleding te maken. Daarom is een kledingmaak-project van start gegaan, waarin 15 vrouwen worden opgeleid om kleding voor degenen te maken die tekort hebben. Dit project is gestart.

Education young farmers

Malawi

Main profession to make a living in Malawi is farming and we have a great teacher for that. In educate young men and women how to farm we lift things up for a bright future. Education requires room, teachers, education material. We would love to make this possible !

Hoofdberoep in Malawi ´het boeren´. Het meest voor de hand liggend is dus een opleidingstraject voor ´het boeren in uitdagende klimatologische omstandigheden´. Een lokale leraar hebben we al, betalen kunnen we hem echter nog niet. Help je mee dit project op te starten?

Irrigation

Malawi

Malawi is a country is a region with extreem wateroverflow in a very short time and a long dry period, which makes farming very challenging. Our wish is to improve irrigation step by step to drain crop fields in rain season and sprenkle those in dry periods. Therefor we will start with digging canals. Because of the extreem solid ground some machines are needed to dig and move ground. Also tree planting is part of this project with has already startet.
